About

I am an Advanced AI Engineer at CATL, based in Hong Kong. My work focuses on AI for Science (AI4Science) for materials discovery in EV batteries and energy-storage systems, alongside optimization of manufacturing processes.

I received my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), advised by Prof. Rhea Liem. During my research, I spent a year at the EPFL Computer Vision Lab, supervised by Prof. Pascal Fua and working closely with Dr. Zhen Wei. I also worked on multidisciplinary design optimization with Prof. John Hwang at UC San Diego.
